Today, the environment is no longer a limited concern but has become one of the most important national and global priorities. Numerous crises, ranging from climate change and biodiversity loss to air pollution and water resource depletion, are severely threatening the health of humans and other living beings. It is clear that the only sustainable solution to address these challenges is to raise public awareness and change society's attitude toward the environment.

In this regard, Article 50 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes the importance of environmental protection and defines it as a public duty:
"In the Islamic Republic, the protection of the environment, in which today's and future generations must have growing social life, is considered a public duty."

The "Bomkoreh" journal, as an environmental, cultural, and social media outlet affiliated with the Environmental Scientific-Student Association of the University of Tehran, began its activities in 2017 with the aim of playing an effective role in this field. The journal strives to spread environmental knowledge in society by combining scientific knowledge with cultural insight, aiming to foster the development of sustainable and widespread thinking.

The "Bomkoreh" supported by the collective efforts of students, experts, and environmental advocates, is ready to continue hosting your ideas, articles, research, and perspectives from across the country. We hope that, through these interactions, we can take steps toward addressing environmental challenges and building a sustainable future for our beloved Iran.

🌿 Together for an informed environment and a bright future 🌿
