Abstract

The Earth has always experienced many chemical changes at its surface, but all of these changes have occurred in proportion to evolutionary and relatively slow changes. With the advent of the Industrial Revolution and the rise of the human population, changes in the environment have accelerated. Human activities, overuse of natural resources, chemicals, fossil fuels, etc. are the reasons for these changes at high speed. Carbon dioxide, methane and atmospheric nitrogen gases, which had a relatively constant percentage for a thousand years, in At present, the atmosphere is increasing by 1% annually.
These changes compelled man to think about the complexity of the relationship between his activities and his effects on the environment, and to become aware of his responsibilities. Eventually, the growth of these considerations led to the concept of sustainability and the emergence of pervasive development goals.
