Villages are the basis for the development of nature tourism in Iran

Abstract

Today, the tourism industry in general and rural tourism in particular are considered as one of the main indicators of the national and international economy. Therefore, the development of this industry is one of the priorities of development programs in developing countries, and their goal is to help local communities to advance development activities and goals. Therefore, it prioritizes the needs and capacities of the local people. Villages and its inhabitants are connected to the tourism industry in two ways. One is that the rural environment, as spaces and summer places, is a good place for tourists to spend their free time, and the other is that their products, including food and handicrafts, are offered to tourists and thus help their livelihoods.
