Abstract

Given the importance of documenting the vertebrate fauna of Alborz Province in Iran, the identification and recording of animal species in the terrestrial and aquatic habitats of the province have been conducted and updated. This process follows systematic classification formats, including those established by the IUCN and CITES, utilizing reliable resources such as atlases, manuals, journals, and field observations by researchers, experts, and environmental wardens.
